Why 30 Days Is a Useful Reference Cycle
A consistent 30-day cycle is still within the typical adult range. The key shift is a longer follicular phase, with estimated ovulation around Day 16.
A 30-day cycle is slightly longer than the textbook example, so ovulation usually falls later - around Day 16. That moves the fertile window to Days 11-17 rather than the Day 9-15 pattern used for a 28-day cycle.
A fixed cycle-length page like this works best when your timing is usually close to the same number of days each month. If your cycle shifts around more than that, move to the main period calculator or the irregular period calculator.
